Black Raspberry Honey Deuce

Rosy, refreshing, and garnished with green melon spheres reminiscent of tennis balls, the Honey Deuce is the official cocktail of the U.S. Open. Though mixologist Nick Mautone created it to promote tournament sponsor Grey Goose, the true star of the Honey Deuce is black raspberry liqueur. Not only does it add the pop of color but its rounded sweetness tempers the tartness of the lemonade, culminating in a quencher that’s perfect for watching a match in the late-summer sun.
If you make your own liqueur, it will be darker than Chambord (whose proprietary recipe includes other secret ingredients). If you want a pale pink cocktail, use the French liqueur, but if you prefer a bolder berry flavor, homemade is the way to go.
